The Brief
A whole garden makeover with a new driveway entrance, secluded seating and entertaining area, improved rear access and parking with new paths and seasonal interest borders to soften the house .
The Challenge
The various aspects of the garden meant there was no inviting spaces, difficult angles and unloved areas. The family needed a dynamic garden that provided interest, spaces to play and relax.
The Design Solution
Removing old and damaged trees and shrubs opened up the front space, making room for the new driveway access. This was screened off from the private relaxing space with evergreen hedging and cool contemporary metal screens. New soft borders with vibrant plants added depth and texture around the house, providing seasonal interest and colour.
